PREDATOR FISHING

During the winter it is business as usual at Esthwaite, not only with some quality winter trout fishing, but also the best pike fishing on offer in the North of England. The fishery record is 39lb 8oz and every winter numerous 20lb+ fish are landed with a thirty pound plus leviathan a distinct possibility.

Methods include deadbait & lures. Deadbaits must be bought from the onsite tackle shop, where an extensive range is on offer. The season extends from October 1st to March 31st.

Day tickets and boat hire are available or for regular visits, membership to our Big 'S' club may be more appropriate.

We are keen to protect our head of specimen pike and will ban anyone abusing the rules. The PAC work with us and offer great advice.

Winter Coarse Fish

From November 1st to February 28th, general coarse fishing tickets are available for £6.50. You can fish for our specimen Roach, Rudd and Perch.
All of which grow to 3lb+. Quivertipping or waggler tactics account for some
of the most stunning silverfish sport every winter.
